Loan A Lifeguard Terms & Conditions.
You must read, agree and accept all of the terms and conditions outlined below and those incorporated by reference before you complete a booking with us.
‘We’, ‘Ourselves’ and ‘Our’ means Loan A Lifeguard Ltd.
‘Site’ and ‘Website’ means www.loanalifeguard.com
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and will notify our members by uploading the most up-to-date version to our website.
By placing a booking with us you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Loan A Lifeguard are responsible for the safety and well-being of all swimmers associated with the pool / water area agreed on during the booking process.
We can only take responsibility for accidents which occur in or around the pool / water area that we are guarding. We are not liable for accidents elsewhere including other pools , lakes etc throughout the site/event.
It is the responsibility of the client to accurately tell us to the size and depth of the pool / water area and also the maximum number of swimmers which could be in the pool at any one time. The reason for this is that the depths our lifeguards can monitor varies between person to person so we must ensure you have a lifeguard with the suitable qualifications for your event. Similarly when the number of swimmers exceeds 30 you are required to book 2 lifeguards for event. You need at least 1 lifeguard per 30 swimmers. We are not liable for any accidents caused as a result of insufficient communication prior to the event.
It is imperative that we are told prior to the event whether alcohol will be available for swimmers as this can drastically alter your booking.
If alcohol is served and we have not been notified, we are not liable for any injury which has occurred as a direct result of alcohol.
Your lifeguard will arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your event to allow themselves to familiarise themselves with the pool and it’s surroundings.
All our lifeguards have either the NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) or NaRS (National Rescue Standard) qualification with first aid. We do thorough checks of both qualifications and identity prior to employment.
Loan A Lifeguard can only guarantee your booking once full payment has been received prior to your event.
If you want to cancel your booking and receive a full refund you must notify us at least 1 week prior to the agreed start time of your event. If you cancel within 72 hours of your booking the refund is 50%. There is no refund if the cancellation is within 24hrs of the event start.
Loan A Lifeguard is not liable for any damages or theft which may occur during the event.
Please note that we have in operation a LATE PAYMENT POLICY
Events are immediate payment.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON INVOICE SETTLEMENT
Usually we request payment within 14 days, but we are flexible with
your Accounting system. Therefore we allow a MAX of 30 days for payment of an
Invoice , once submitted. Should the invoice not be paid then the normal
price will be due. This will be an additional 10% on the original invoice, which is our normal non discounted price.
Once 30 days has been exceeded with no payment from Client, then ALL invoices issued
will be due at the same time.
These terms and conditions, and any agreement entered into in connection with the same, shall be interpreted in accordance with the English law and subject the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
